The Hotel Latemar is an ideal starting point if you want to discover the many adventures to be had on the Renon or if you have set your sights on the fashionable city of Bolzano. On foot, by narrow-gauge railway, or by cable car: whatever tickles your fancy. And your car might just enjoy a break, too.

Earth PyramidsOne of the best-known attractions on the Renon mountain, and they can be found at three different places: in Soprabolzano, in Collalbo, and in Auna di Sotto. You can get there on foot or use the Railway Renon, a quirky narrow-gauge railway, for a trip to Collalbo.

LlamasPlease don’t get a fright if one of these outlandish animals crosses your path: the curious llamas live on a farm in the neighbourhood and attract a great number of tourists of all ages.

CollalboOur neighbouring village is always worth a visit. Just hop on the historic Renon Railway and take a little tour of the shops and inns there.

BolzanoThe bustling capital of South Tyrol. And just a stone’s throw away: The mountain station of the Renon Cable Car is just a three minutes’ walk from the hotel, and takes you to the city centre in only 15 minutes. A perfect day trip, promise!
